Microsuction is a safe and gentle method of removing ear wax using a small suction device, performed under direct vision by a trained healthcare professional. It is usually quick and pain free.
Should I use cotton buds to clean my ears?
No. Cotton buds should not be used to clean your ears. They often push wax deeper into the ear canal and can increase the risk of blockage, infection, or injury to the ear.
What is included in my appointment?
I will travel to your home to assess your ears and, if appropriate, carry out the microsuction procedure.
Are you within the 10-mile radius?
For visits outside the local area an additional travel charge applies.
My standard fee is £65 for locations within a 10-mile radius of Saffron Walden, with prices for further distances available on request.
